Access for everyone.
Lightbender LLC wants everyone to be able to explore our work and get in touch. We are working to make this website accessible to people with disabilities.
Our accessibility goal
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA as a guide for improving the site. Accessibility is an ongoing effort. This statement is not a certification that every part of the site meets that standard.
Using this site
- Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between links, buttons, and form fields. Press Enter to follow a link or activate a button. Buttons also respond to Space.
- A “Skip to content” link appears when it receives keyboard focus.
- When the work gallery has focus, use the left and right arrow keys to browse. Its automatic movement pauses while keyboard focus is within the gallery.
- The inquiry dialog keeps keyboard focus inside it. Press Escape or use its close button to return to the page.
- You can zoom using your browser. Text and controls are designed to reflow on smaller screens.
Motion and video
The homepage’s “Pause motion” button pauses the gallery’s movement and playback, decorative light animation, and section entrances. The background film at the top of the homepage has its own pause button.
If your device requests reduced motion, automatic video playback and decorative movement are disabled, and content appears without entrance animations. The portfolio films play muted and have brief project labels. Detailed descriptions of every visual in the films are not yet available.
Contact and alternative access
If you have trouble using the site, need a description of a work sample, or would like to discuss a project another way, email vincejefferds@gmail.com.
Please include the page or film, what you were trying to do, and the format or assistance that would help. You may also share your browser or assistive technology if useful; you do not need to disclose a disability or medical information.
The inquiry form opens a draft in your email application. If that does not work with your setup, you can contact Vince directly at the email address above.
Review and improvement
The site was reviewed on October 16, 2026 for keyboard navigation, focus handling, form labels, motion controls, text contrast, and responsive layouts. Further testing with assistive technologies and people with disabilities can identify additional improvements.
